When Don purchased his pup, he had decided that with his schedule, he would let his breeder/trainer start the training with Timber, and then Don would finish the training.

Timber was started and spent around three to four months at the trainer before Don picked him up to finish out the training himself.

When Timber was about ten months old, Don picked him up from the trainer and then dove into the Cornerstone program. Don put in a lot of hard work, which ultimately has molded Timber into the hunting machine that he is today. 

As you can tell from the video, Don did an excellent job with Timber. Don's first season with Timber was absolutely incredible. From Oregon to Billings, MT, Don has been able to hunt Timber in a variety of scenarios with great success.
